I don’t know if ‘like’ is the right word. lol I’ve never heard it before this video. It’s interesting because the dance moves are so similar to dances in the U.S. a few years later.
Yes. It’s like the “Twist” and the “Watusi” and all that early 60’s stuff. It is never clear whether these were real dance moves or just marketing ploys to promote youth party-culture ie. record sales for the recording industry. Do you like Reggae music?
Yes, I love the sound of Reggae. I like all kinds of music. I grew up dancing the Twist, the Swim, the Jerk, the Shimmy and even the Funky Chicken…lol. I didn’t know it was a marketing ploy. I guess it worked! I still remember how upset my mom and aunts were…
